The Tarblighted Stoner is the miniboss on the Sanguine Caverns route, after the Sanguine Shoreline Beacon and before The Lost Child. Beat it for Tarred Fragment.

Before entering the arena

• Reach Sanguine Shoreline.
• Use the launch pad behind that Beacon to reach the cliff arena.
• Stay away from the cliff edge. Falling drops you into the water below; a launch pad there returns you to the fight.

How to beat the Tarblighted Stoner

1. Circle the boulder throws. When it picks up several rocks, run around it instead of backing in a straight line.
2. Kill the summoned help. Clear woodmen before they pin you against the edge.
3. Punish after a throw. Step in for a short string, then leave.
4. Take Tarred Fragment. Then continue to the Tiel summon and the crack that leads to The Lost Child.
